The vast majority of artificial intelligence systems that reach the market have been designed to replace humans in their functions. From AiForHuman.org we want to promote on a global scale the creation of Artificial Intelligence that is designed from the beginning to train and empower people in their world, not to replace them.

Our goal: for every substitution AI that is made, at least one more human empowerment AI is made that helps us COMPETE against autonomous AI systems during the technological revolution in which we are immersed.

Too rapid absorption of all this technology could result in a drastic and massive substitution of people in their jobs, leaving overnight an entire generation of workers obsolete for employment in new companies, but still too young to retire.

This would produce extreme social tension on a labor fabric already incapable of reabsorbing such a large number of workers as all traditional sectors find themselves at the same time in the same process of labor force substitution.

We are not an association fearful of Technology. Among us are engineers, philosophers, economists, sociologists, psychologists, or entrepreneurs. But also a multitude of artificial intelligence or robotics engineers and most of us are convinced that in the medium term society is heading towards a better future.

But also that, in the short term, if tools are not developed that empower humans to help them compete with the substitution proposals that the market presents every day, we could unconsciously generate the greatest social problem ever seen in the history of humanity.

What used to be predictions is now measurable reality. According to the latest studies:

Automation has ceased to be experimental to become operational reality today:

• Automated retail: Amazon Fresh has 50+ cashierless stores; Walmart has 200+ autonomous delivery locations
• Autonomous transport: San Francisco, Phoenix, Austin operate 24-hour robotaxi fleets; China has 1000+ commercial autonomous vehicles
• Maritime logistics: Norway operates the world's first commercial autonomous cargo ship; Singapore automated 80% of port operations
• Smart agriculture: 60% of new Japanese farms use autonomous tractors (85% productivity increase, 70% labor cost reduction)
• Professional services: Allen & Overy reduced contract analysis time by 90% using AI; South Korean hospitals use autonomous surgical robots
• Automated catering: 500+ fully robotic restaurants globally, expanding to 5000 by 2025

Many voices argue that job losses will be offset by new tech sector jobs. The problem with their reasoning: they focus on the wrong variable.

The DANGER is not in the number of jobs eliminated vs created, but in the SPEED at which this change could occur. For the first time in history, a technologically disruptive transition could happen in a period much shorter than one generation—leaving workers without time to retrain.

Current automation does not discriminate by educational level. Lawyers, doctors, architects and programmers also face displacement by AI. This is our defining moment as a civilization.

We have only two possibilities:

1. Do nothing — and risk a social explosion leaving the most vulnerable permanently displaced
2. Take coordinated action — Governments, Universities, Business Associations and Experts unite to build a Master Plan for civilized transition

This is not about good vs bad, nor do we think we can stop technological change. Our proposal: the global effort in AI development should be distributed equitably between:

• Human empowerment AI — Tools that enhance human capabilities
• Substitution AI — Autonomous systems (currently the focus of most development)

Our mission is pragmatic and temporal. We do not seek to stop technological progress, but to moderate it enough to allow dignified human adaptation. The goal is to develop AI tools that:

• Enhance unique human strengths (creativity, empathy, ethical judgment)
• Compensate for our natural limitations (calculation, memory, processing speed)
• Allow current workers to remain competitive for 15-20 more years

This timeframe would give the current generation time to adapt, retrain or retire naturally, avoiding the massive social crisis that threatens with too abrupt a transition.

Anyone committed to a conscious and human technological future. We seek:

• Technology professionals: AI engineers, robotics, software, systems
• Humanities experts: Sociologists, philosophers, lawyers, psychologists
• Educational leaders: Teachers, researchers, trainers
• Professionals from any sector who understand the urgency of the moment

We especially need those who have experience and perspective. This generation has the historical responsibility to ensure that the next does not inherit a bleeding social crisis.

Design professional adaptation routes. Develop training programs that transform "threatened" workers into "prepared" collaborators of intelligent systems.

Invent the tools that will keep us relevant. For every substitution AI you observe in the market, design a counter-proposal of empowerment AI that allows humans to compete effectively.
